These books include comic books, magazines, fairy-tale stories, and biographies for children. Especially, during the springtime of life, they read so-called youthful stories and get reminded of these stories as dear memories after they become adults. In this paper, the author takes up ten famous works of youthful stories and classifies them into five categories based on their plots. He recollects his first impressions he received when he fi rst read them and makes his present remarks about them as he reads them today. In conclusion, the first impressions of each work stay unforgettable until now. As he gains life experiences, he becomes aware of new discoveries and events related to these works. In other words, there could later be life events closely connected to the authors and their works he continues reading.
